ORBS OF THE HORIZON BY JENNA PARTSCH

My work is about finding the beauty within our chaotic world. I think of my photography as an extension of the lens behind my eyes. These pieces are about how the world keeps moving while we stagnate within our own lives. I find peace in looking off into the horizon while the glow of the sun disappears. That’s how I find myself with my tripod waiting to capture the rapidly fleeting sunset with its array of magnificent colors.

These photographs serve as a visual symphony, capturing the harmonious convergence of light and shadow, while simultaneously evoking a profound sense of serenity and introspection. My process uses digital images and post processing in photoshop. The main part of the process is waiting for the perfect moment to capture the landscape.

Currently in her senior year at Buffalo State University, Jenna has carved a distinctive niche in the realm of visual artwork. Born and raised in the vibrant city of Buffalo, Jenna was drawn to the art of photography from an early age. The rich cultural tapestry and urban landscapes of her hometown served as an endless source of inspiration.

Jenna is a freelance photographer and shoots portraits for her clients. Portraits have been a major part of her portfolio but she is branching out to differentiate her portfolio. The use of digital photography has been her primary medium since her highschool years. As Jenna prepares to embark on the next chapter of her artistic journey, there is an air of anticipation surrounding her future endeavors.
