Book Time at our CEPA Artist Facility

The CEPA black-and-white darkroom features:

  • 12 workstations
  • Black-and-white film developing reels and tanks, both metal and plastic
  • Enlargers, carriers, and lenses for 35mm, 120mm and 4×5 film formats
  • A large sink with the capacity to make prints up to 20×24
  • Kodak D-76 film developer
  • ECO PRO developer and fix for paper
  • An excellent ventilation system

CEPA also has equipment for Alt-Process/Hybrid work:

  • 40 x 60″ Nuarc style exposure unit w/ vacum lid.
  • Ability to print digital negatives up to 17″ onsite.
  • Capacity for large 44″ digital negatives through special order.
  • Various contact printing frames, brushes, coating rods.
  • Cyanotype chemistry.
Hours & Rates

The darkroom is available to book Monday–Saturday, at a rate of $6/hour for the general public and a CEPA member rate of $4/hour. Hours are variable as we need to work around scheduled classes. Click on a date to see the available times.

If booking less than 24 hrs ahead of time, call the office or email nate@cepagallery.org to schedule time.

Book Your Time

  • Select “1” for either Individual or CEPA Member, depending on your status
  • Select your desired date and time to check availability
  • Minimum booking time is 1 hour.
  • You can only book one session at a time, but you can add multiple sessions to your cart
