A 3-Day Workshop
May 8, 15 & 22
This master class with artist Eric Kunsman is for those that have a basic to advanced knowledge of Photoshop. We will be focusing on the visualization of the final print and how controls in the digital darkroom provide you with the ability to finalize your images. We will discuss Photoshop’s tools and printer color management tools to produce gallery-quality work.
What is the visualization of the final print? Think about Master Photographers like W. Eugene Smith, Lou Draper, & Ansel Adams. All used the darkroom to make sure the final print is the expression of the scene/documentation they intended when clicking the shutter. Eric will show before and after images of his work and then show his process for enhancing the images.
Week 1: Presentation of Eric’s images and the various tools he uses in his workflow
Week 2: Look at participant’s prints that they make at home or at CEPA’s digital lab (free lab hours included)
Week 3: Discussion of final 2-3 images by participants
Saturdays, May 8, 15 & 22
11:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.
Membership starts as low as $40/year for individuals—and even lower for students at only $25/year!
