A Photography Class for Ages 16+

Analog Double exposures are a technique used to add depth and layers to an image. They can create a dreamlike portal into a new world.

This workshop will explore techniques for creating in-camera multiple exposures. Methods will be discussed for achieving the best results to create these surreal photographs. Black & White and Color film photography will be used in this workshop. Students will also have the opportunity to learn how to develop black & white film. Participants should have their own 35mm or 120 mm camera. All other materials will be supplied.

Jeannine Swallow - Teaching Artist - CEPA Gallery - Buffalo NY

About the Teaching Artist

Jeannine Swallow is a Buffalo native and Photographic Artist. She is passionate about analogue photography and alternative processes. She received her Associates degree from Villa Maria College and later a BFA in Visual Studies, at the University of Buffalo. Owner and operator of FilmXposed, a local photography business specializing in creating contemporary and often surreal images; with a strong focus on multiple exposures. Swallow possess an avid love for travel and has exhibited both internationally and through out the Buffalo area.
