Curatorial Fellow Job Description

Title: CEPA Curatorial Summer Fellow
Reports to: Archive Associate Fellow and Chief Curator
Position Open Until Filled will start when the fellow is ready

Key Responsibilities:
The Curatorial Fellow reports to the Chief Curator and the Archive Associate Fellow and will be assisting them with sorting, digitizing, and editing CEPA’s photography archives. They will assist the Chief Curator with the preparation of printed artwork, curation of exhibitions, and the development of marketing materials. The Curatorial Fellow will also conduct some research on materials from the CEPA collection.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
High School Graduate
Must be proficient in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop, cataloging, and photo editing software
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers as they will be working closely with the Chief Curator and Archive Associate Fellow
Solid work ethics with follow-through and accountability for schedule and deliverables
Some archival or curatorial experience preferred
Demonstrated understanding of and contribution to inclusion, diversity, and accessibility in the art.

The Curatorial Fellowship is a part-time position (10 hours per week) for a 16 week contract (or a total of 160h distributed differently). Salary: $15/hour. You can elect to use this fellowship for credits towards a degree program internship requirement, but it is not a requirement to be eligible for this position.
