CEPA is excited to announce the hiring of three new fellows, made possible by the generous patronage of the Fujifilm Foundation for Creation Fellowship Program: Sofia Inigo-Payne, Kristina Ebert, and Kenneth P. Budziszewski. This is CEPA’s third year in collaboration with Fujifilm for the Foundation for Creation Fellowship Program. Here are the fellows!

Please join us Friday, August 4th, 2023 from 5-8 PM at CEPA Gallery for the closing of Resilience: A Buffalo Story by Mustafa Hussain. As Buffalo continues to rebuild and grow after the events of the past three years, artist Mustafa Hussain explores the effects of these events on our community in his thought-provoking exhibition, which also includes the work of photographers, Joshua Thermidor, Malik Rainey, Brandon Watson, and Jalen Wright. 

Please join us June 9th, 2023 from 5-8 PM in the Underground Gallery for the premiere of NTY.studio’s newest installation, Life at the Chasm. Led by Creative Director Rafael Bicalho and Producer Kristian Bouw, the exhibition continues NTY.studio's tradition of exploring rich sensory and visual narratives through film and experimental media.

Please join us and noted Buffalo art collector Dr. Gerald Mead, on Saturday, April 1st, 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM for a second tour of the exhibition "Cindy Sherman Retrospective: Works from the Gerald Mead Collection" to discuss the unique significance of many of the works and his 28-year experience of collecting them.

The Center for Exploratory & Perceptual Arts (CEPA Gallery) is pleased to announce our 2023 Big Orbit Members’ Show. This year’s show will be running from May 12, 2023 until June 3, 2023 with an opening reception on Friday, May 12 from 5:00 - 8:00 PM. All current, new, and renewing CEPA members are invited to submit one artwork for the exhibition which will be located in the Underground and Underground Passageway Galleries.

The Board of Directors of The Center for Exploratory & Perceptual Arts is pleased to announce that Claire Leggett has been appointed Executive Director. Says Luke Cusack, President of CEPA’s Board of Directors, “Claire took over management of the organization and led us through an unplanned transition with poise and professionalism.  Her demonstrable administrative strengths are a great fit for us as we plan for a second 50 years of CEPA successes.”
