Kurt Von Voetsch’s upcoming installation Way Over The Top at Big Orbit Project Space features drawings colored with wax, mixed media (felt, meat, flatware) wall hangings, and a performance.
We’re not entirely sure of what the performance will consist, as Kurt has been somewhat non-forthcoming in that regard; however he has promised that it will be exciting and illuminating; anyone who’s seen his past shows will have no cause for doubt.
Too much of life, in any case, is getting precisely what one expects, so we ask those of you reading this, planning your Saturday night, to open yourself up to uncertainty, and do something interesting for a change.
Kurt Von Voetsch’s Way Over The Top opens at Big Orbit Project Space on June 1, 2019. The artist’s performance will run throughout the length of the show, from 7:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m.
