CEPA Gallery will be presenting a screening of the short film version of A STRANGER IN THE STREET AT THE EDGE OF THE EARTH by David Mitchell and Joseph Stocker on Thursday, June 26th from 7:30pm – 9pm. The screening will take place at Ro Home Shop located at 732 Elmwood Ave. Buffalo, NY 14222 near Breckenridge St.
The short film, which acts as a piece within the larger piece and gives form to the installation, features actor Tim Newell , as well as a mesmerizing score by Joseph Stocker. When combined with the exhibition catalog, these elements lend tremendous insight into this enigmatic exhibition.
Ró will create a uniquely cozy and casual environment for patrons to enjoy the film. This very special event will begin with a meet and greet that includes beverages, proceeded by a screening of the short film utilizing the album as audio accompaniment, and closing out with a question/answer session with David Mitchell and Joseph Stocker.
The event is free and open to the public. Space is very limited so RSVP is strongly recommended. Requests will be accommodated on a first come/first serve basis. Anyone is welcome to RSVP. However, individuals who purchase the album prior to the event will be given priority.

If you have already purchased an album/catalog, or if you’d like to purchase one, they will be available at CEPA Gallery, Big Orbit Gallery, and online beginning Monday, June 16th. Catalogs purchased online may also be picked up at the screening. Exhibition catalogs, as well as a limited number of prints, will also be available for purchase at the screening.
