DIANA POLANCO: HOMEBODIES
Homebodies is a collection of portraits of the home. Each painting looks at different parts of a home, from the living room to the bedroom to the garden. These works also represent the figures who inhabit these spaces – siblings, parents, pets, and even the self. Using different techniques of texture, perspective, and color, I’m hoping to convey the various feelings of being at home: intimacy, enclosure, and freedom.
