CEPA Gallery is pleased to announce our 2026 Members Show. This year’s show will run from August 14, 2026 through September 28, 2026. All current, new, and renewing CEPA members are invited to submit one artwork for the exhibition which will be located in the CEPA Project Space. To submit, please fill out the online submission form which can be found HERE. All participating artists must be a registered member through the opening of the show, August 14, 2026. If you are not currently a member, please renew your membership before or at the time of artwork drop-off. If you are unsure of your membership status, please contact info@cepagallery.org or call 716.856.2717.
ABOUT THE JUROR
JUROR: Tiffany D. Gaines, Curator, Burchfield Penney Art Center
Tiffany D. Gaines is a writer, curator, and photographer interested in highlighting her community’s diverse arts and artists. As a curator at the Burchfield Penney Art Center, she curates exhibitions that amplify artists from the Buffalo region. Her curatorial interests are grounded in uncovering cultural histories that inspire agency, promote accessibility, and energize an appreciation of the power of art. As an artist and writer, her research and curatorial interests inform her work, exploring themes of healing, narrative, history, and possibility. Her writing has been published in Hyperallergic and Cornelia Magazine, and her work has been included in exhibitions at the Buffalo AKG Art Museum and CEPA Gallery.

Work can be dropped off at CEPA Monday through Friday, from 10 am to 4 pm.

***This year, one winner will be selected from the participants. The winner will receive a free solo exhibition to be held at CEPA Gallery in 2027. In order to be considered for the awards portion of the show, you must submit a link to your website and or your art practice-centric social media account. This information will be requested in the submission.
ENTRY RESTRICTIONS
- All entries must be delivered ready for installation.
- All media are welcome.
- All entrants must be current members of CEPA.
- All entries will be insured from delivery through pick-up.
- If submitting video or other time-based media, please contact CEPA or provide the necessary hardware to show your work (CEPA has limited media players, TVs, projectors, etc.).
- If your work is larger than 24” x 36,” please contact CEPA. Large work will be accepted on a first come, first served basis.
ABOUT CEPA
Located in Buffalo’s historic Market Arcade Complex, CEPA is a contemporary photography and visual arts center with impact in both local and national communities. With three galleries of changing exhibits and events, multimedia public art installations, arts education programs, and an open-access darkroom and digital photo lab, CEPA creates a vibrant presence in the heart of downtown Buffalo.
Originally incorporated as the Center for Exploratory and Perceptual Arts, Inc. to serve as a community darkroom and exhibition space, CEPA was founded during the Alternative Space Movement in May 1974 by recent graduates of the University of Buffalo.
