It is with a heavy heart that I write this. Lawrence Brose, acclaimed artist and longtime CEPA director, has passed away. I met him when I was hired to lead CEPA. We spoke often and grew close. His energy and passion were infectious. I am forever changed because I had the privilege of knowing him. -Ben Hickey Executive Director CEPA

The Center for Exploratory & Perceptual Arts is proud to announce the Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Arts & Culture Initiative administered by the Community Foundation for Greater Buffalo is supporting Capacity Building + General Operations in 2025! In addition to our proposed development plan, all Capacity Building grant recipients will be placed in a cohort to learn and grow together!

Normally, when we thank donors, it's clear who they are. However, that's not always the case. Please join us in thanking our anonymous donors for their support and generosity. #anonymousdonorsdeservesomelovetoo

CEPA Gallery is thankful to receive 2025 funding from the New York State Council on the Arts. This support enables us to continue serving the arts community through exhibitions, education, and critical public access to image-making resources. We are also excited to share that Biff Henrich's book "Building Photographs" also received funding from NYSCA!
