CEPA Gallery Seeking Executive Director

Buffalo, NY, – June 20, 2024 –

— CEPA Gallery, a renowned contemporary photography and visual arts center, is excited to announce that it is now accepting resumes for the position of Executive Director. This national search aims to find a visionary leader to guide the gallery into its next chapter of artistic innovation and community engagement.

Located in the heart of Buffalo, CEPA Gallery has been a cornerstone of the local and national art scene for over 50 years, showcasing cutting-edge photography and visual arts. The Executive Director will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the gallery’s operations, including strategic planning, fundraising, program development, and community outreach.

“We are seeking a dynamic and visionary leader who is passionate about contemporary art and committed to fostering a vibrant cultural community,” said the CEPA Gallery Board of Directors. “The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nonprofit management, a deep understanding of the arts, and a proven track record of leadership and fundraising success.”

Responsibilities of the Executive Director include:

• Leading the development and implementation of strategic plans

• Overseeing daily operations and ensuring financial stability

• Expanding the gallery’s community presence and partnerships

• Curating innovative exhibitions and educational programs

• Enhancing donor relations and driving fundraising initiatives
