Intern at CEPA Discusses Summer Experience

Hi! My name is Alyssa LaMartina and I am a senior at Villa Maria College, majoring in Photography. I recently was given the opportunity to complete a summer internship at CEPA Gallery, where I focused on education and marketing. I cannot speak enough about what a beneficial experience I have had working at such a unique and special place, and all the opportunities I have been graciously given. I have become familiar with a new software program and was able to update CEPA’s past artist exhibition webpages. I have also been able to navigate the CEPA social media accounts, a topic in which I was interested in learning more about. An exciting experience I had was shooting the 16th CEPA Gallery Charitable Auction this year, as well as some gallery showings and summer camps along the way. I have learned a plethora of knowledge in designing, marketing, social outreach, and education skills that I will carry with me far into my future. My time spent at CEPA Gallery has provided me knowledge to become a well-rounded individual, taught me the tools and skills to be successful in my chosen field, and has given me an overall enriching experience I will never forget. Thank you CEPA Gallery!!
