Camera Obscura

Working with Alex Cassetti and Wes Winters, students learned the principles of photography by creating and working inside a camera obscura. A camera obscura is a darkened room or box with a lens that projects an image from outside, into the room or box. It is important historically in the development of photography. Students built a camera obscura out of a room in their home, (or their car) and photographed images on black and white photo paper along with documenting the camera that they created.
