Art of War

Divine Violence represents a continuing research project aimed at naming all the groups in the world that have attempted, or are currently attempting, to enforce politics through violence in the twentieth and twenty-first centuries. 1,700 groups have been collected to date.

First presented in the 2008 Whitney Biennial, Daniel Joseph Martinez's exhibition Divine Violence is presented as part of Art of War at CEPA Gallery. Come see this project and many more from artists addressing global conflict through art.
