Real Time Shifts: Peer Bode, Joseph Scheer, Jessie Shefrin - Bio

Peer Bode is an artist, educator, tool development supporter and personal studio-making proponent. He makes new work in the emerging, electronic media practices that are expanding the nature of video, sound and printmaking. He is presently Professor of Video Arts and Co-Director/Founder of the Institute for Electronic Arts at the School of Art and Design, Alfred University, Alfred, New York.

Joseph Scheer is Professor of Print Media, The Chair of the Division of Two Dimensional Studies and Electronic Arts and Co-Director/Founder of the Institute for Electronic Arts at the School of Art and Design, Alfred University. His current works span print media, video and web based projects. He uses technology to re-examine nature through interpretive collecting and visual recording. He lives and works in Hornell, New York.

Jessie Shefrin is currently Professor of Print Media and Co-Director/Founder of the Institute for Electronic Arts at the School of Art and Design, Alfred University. Her work explores the nature of dynamic space inherent in new electronic media by creating sites where shifting attentions reveal the nature of shifting consciousness. She maintains studios in Alfred, New York and Boston, Massachusetts.
