Alison Slein

An artist and educator with a wide variety of experience teaching at institutions including Virginia Tech, the Albright-Knox Art Gallery and the University of Rochester, Alison Slein received an M.F.A. in Imaging Arts from the Rochester Institute of Technology and a B.A. and B.F.A. in Art History and Photography from the University of Missouri.

As an artist, Alison has been awarded an NYFA Fellowship for photography from the New York Foundation for the Arts, a Mid-Atlantic Arts Foundation Fellowship, and an Individual Artist Grant from the Constance Saltonstall Foundation for the Arts. Currently, Alison is a lecturer in the Department of Visual Arts and New Media at SUNY Fredonia.
